Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-03

1. What information do we collect?

When you submit a request through Lendingdesk, we collect the information you provide directly, such as your name, contact details, date of birth, address, income and employment details, and banking information needed to check your request against lenders in our network. We also collect technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you interact with our site, using cookies and similar tools.

2. How do we use your information?

We use the information you provide to operate the matching service: checking your request against lenders in our network, communicating with you about your request, improving our site, and, where you've agreed to receive them, sending you offers or updates from us or our partners. We do not use your information to make lending decisions ourselves, because we are not a lender.

3. How do we share your information?

We share the information in your request with lenders and other partners in our network so they can evaluate whether they may be able to make you an offer. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate our site, and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties without your consent.

4. Digital advertising & analytics

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site, and we may work with advertising partners who use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads elsewhere. You can generally opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser settings or industry opt-out tools.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to help protect the information you submit. No method of storing or transmitting electronic data is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we can't guarantee absolute security.

6. Links to other websites

Our site may link to websites operated by lenders or other third parties. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies before sharing information with them.

7. Children's information

Lendingdesk is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

9. Your choices

You can ask to stop receiving marketing communications from us at any time — see our Unsubscribe page for details. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still contact you about a request you've already submitted.

10. Additional disclosures for California residents

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights regarding your personal information under state law. See our CCPA Privacy Notice for details.

11. Electronic disclosure

By using our site and submitting a request, you agree to receive certain disclosures, notices, and communications from us electronically, including by email or text message.

Lendingdesk is a loan-matching service and is not a lender. We do not make credit decisions and cannot guarantee that any request will be matched with a lender or result in an offer. Loan amounts, rates, terms, and funding timelines are set solely by participating network lenders and vary by applicant, lender, and state of residence. Not every applicant will qualify, and not every lender operates in every state. Checking your options generally involves a soft credit inquiry; a lender may perform a hard inquiry if you choose to move forward with them directly. This is a design preview and not a live financial service.
